Q-Span Systems

We are proud to offer the first UR+ Application Kit for Quality Inspection: The Q-Span™ Workstation Kit. This application kit works with UR3e collaborative robots to enable small-part handling and measurement inspection. The kit includes example parts and programs that serve as a starting point for users to configure their own part inspection processes.

In addition, we offer the Q-Span™ Workstation Solution: A fully-configured system that we customize to the user’s specific part. Configuration includes design of part trays and metrology fingers along with the development of robot programs to pick, measure, and place the parts. The solution includes installation and training.

NSR-PG Grippers / Calipers

Part of the Q-Span System or available separately, the NSR-PG-10-20-URe Precision Parallel Gripper/Caliper is the smallest gripper available for the smallest robots from Universal Robots. Its small size and light weight to allow up to three tools to be mounted on one UR3e cobot to accomplish multiple tasks with fewer large moves – maximizing throughput of robot process.
